About Me
I am an accredited psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, offering integrative psychotherapy with an existential underpinning. I hold an MA in Psychotherapy & Counselling from Regent’s University London. I am also a member of the Society for Existential Analysis.
You might notice my surname ‘Shah’. I usually say I am of mixed heritage, and if people enquire, I tell them I am half Kashmiri, half Irish. Having dual heritage has given me some experience of feeling like the ‘other’. I have always been interested in exploring the tensions that exist in having multiple cultural and ethnic identities.
